14th SOUTH TYROL THREE PEAKS ALPINE RUN

Beautiful weather and best conditions at the 14th South Tyrol Three Peaks Alpine Run! More than 900 athletes started on Sunday 11 September 2011 near the congress hall of Sexten. They finished their race in front of the famous Three Peaks after an interesting, scenic route spanning 17.5 km with an altitude difference of 1,350 m.

5th victory for Jonathan Wyatt at the South Tyrol Three Peaks Alpine Run. Here finished the race after 1h 29’02” before Helmut Schiessl from Germany and the Italian cross-country skier Roland Clara. Like last year was Mariagrazia Roberti 1h 51`00`` from Italy the first woman to pass the finish-line, followed by Francesca Iachemet and Ellen Clemens.

Also the 7th edition of the MINI Alpine Run was a great success: over 200 children started on saturday 10th september at Sexten!
